WELCOME MESSAGE To the Classes of 2009, 2010, and 2011, I welcome you back to Kennedy. To the class of 2012, I extend you a hearty welcome. Welcome to Kennedy High School! A fresh start is always exciting, and this year promises to be an especially good one. Kennedy has so many good teachers and good students, all of whom make the school work. Our Academic, athletic, and extra-curricular activities are all in place, just waiting for you to be a part of them.As a student your primary task at this point in your life is to do well in classes, figure out what your talents and interests are, and begin to make plans for your future. This is what every adult in the Kennedy building wants for our students. If you are having problems, you must tell someone here-begin with your counselor. If you are having successes, please tell someone. You know from your early years of education that the education process is not a passive one. You guarantee your own success through good attendance, punctuality, and conformity to dress code, homework, and a positive mental attitude. I guarantee if you work hard at Kennedy, you will be rewarded. I truly care about the success of each student in the building. Let us help you achieve that success! |
